Description for Ford Fairlane 1967

1967 Ford Fairlane GT Convertible.
Factory Big Block "S" Code 390 with 4 Speed Manual Transmission.
Brake system completely rebuilt with new Booster, front disc pads, wheel cylinders, and brake power valve.
This GT is Rust Free and Run's Strong. Clutch works fine but is fully adjusted to the outer limit so a new clutch disc will be needed at some point.
There was a Repaint done years ago and paint is now cracking in some areas and the trunk lid and hood have paint bubbles. No rust, just bubbles from bad paint prepping. There are also faded spots in some areas and a little bondo in each rear-quarter. Bondo is not related to rust, it it related to the bad prepping from the paint job done years ago.
The "F" is missing on the Driver Side Quarter panel, otherwise all badging is accounted for.
Carpet needs to be replaced as it is cut and missing a section on the driver console side.
Seats are in very good condition.
Convertible Top in very good condition. There is one "quarter size" stain on the top that I've been unable to clean off.
Tires are worn and need to be replaced. The Magnum 500 Rims are in average shape. The rear passenger rim has a little surface rust. The other rims could use a paint refresh. I have the Style Steel Wheels that came with the Fairlane when it was new and they are included with the sale. Tires are those rims are a few years old but have only about 100 miles on them.
Options on the GT included a Factory Dash Mount Tachometer, which I don't have. Not sure why there is a 66 GT hood.
Please feel free to contact me with any question or if you would like to see a video.
Overall this old girl is in average shape but NO RUST makes for a Much Easier restoration. She can be driven "as is" for many years too in my opinion.
