Description for Ford Fairlane 1967
Up for for sale is a 1967 Ford Fairlane 2dr. Post car. Originally a 289 3-speed standard. Original engine is gone, no engine is included. The 3-speed standard is still in the car along with the z-bar, shifter rods etc. Driveshaft is included and original rear end is still in the car. There are some engine parts in the trunk, 4bbl intake, oil pan, valve covers, exhaust manifolds, waterpump and other misc parts. Car was originally light blue with light blue interior. It is now a faded orange with black bucket seats. The seats are original black seats, but the door panels and trim has been painted black over the original blue. The seats are in good shape as is the trim, but the trim will need to be stripped or repainted. The car is a good original car that has been garaged for the past 30 plus years. Taken off the road around the mid 1970's. Believed to be a one owner car. It is a good project car to build into what ever you want it to be. There is rust. Rust in the inner quarters, small rust in the trunk and it will need floors. The hood also has some rust spots underneath. The hood could be repaired though. No body panels need to be replaced, just spots with rust and rot. The floor will need to be replaced, but what a good time to put a 4-speed hump in. The trim is in very good condition. The side body trim is all straight and not dented or held on with screws. The hood trim, grille etc. are all also nice. They are faded, but straight. All the glass is in excellent shape, the dash is in great shape, the rockers are straight and rust free, roof and trunk lid also in great shape. It is a project, but a good car to start with. I believe this is a uni-body car, but the frame areas look good. Not a rust out, but there is rust. Please ask questions. Buyer is responsible for pick up. I can hold it as long as you need as long as its payed for. I have a clear New Hampshire title for it. Thanks for looking.
