Description for Ford Country Sedan 1953

Up for sale is a 1953 Ford Country Sedan with the legendary Ford Flathead V-8 Engine, this is the very collectible last year of the Flathead 8BA.The Ford Country Sedan is Very Hard to Find in Any Condition. This wagon still has the classic 3 on-the-tree transmission w/overdrive. The registration is current,Clean and Clear California Titlein hand and the car is running well!

The Engine runs strong for its age and is in, pretty much, original condition. New items installed include a New Battery, New starter, New 12V coil, New 12V points all installed this month with receipts. I also have 4 correct replacement roll up windows, 2 correct rear floor pans that are included but not installed yet.

Seats Are in Good Condition Front Bench seat and rear seats are leather, 80/20 Split rear middle seat and there's a third row of seating. As you can see in the photos I remove the two back rows for the cleaning that it went through I've had the whole floor cleaned and the seats are ready to go back in after upholstery. Door panels are very simple and thin and easy to replace they're worn but the hardware is there for any upholsterer to redo.

All The Chrome is There, a Couple of Pieces Are Bent So I removed them to be fixed, But They're All Here And as You Can See The Chrome That's on The Car Looks Great. This car was Owned by a prop master and has been in several ABC and Disney movies in the background.

Excellent candidate for a rat rod with patina look surf wagon! Eventually this will be a $30,000 car.

Next I was going to be adding an original NOS Edlebrock 392 triple deuce manifold and three Stromberg 97 carburetors (Purchased for $1,100 will include w/ Buy it Now), modernizing the suspension and brakes, new electrical harnesses (Under-dash Harness purchased and also included), patina the paint and clear coat, then the interior.

This vehicle is sold as is, where is and I am happy to help in any way with the shipping.
