Description for Ford F-100 1951
1951 Ford F-150 Pick Up - Gorgeous and Original Resto Body: Older restoration that was nut and bolt and dome with care and quality. Paint is Washington Blue. Truck is straight and clearly has never had rust. Only flaws I have found are some minor ones on roof and doors. Only dings are small dent on front bed panel and small dent on inside of tailgate. Also some there are some delamination bubbles on the driver's wing vent. Interior: Interior is next to perfect and correct to original. Drivetrain: Flat head V-8 239 cu. in. with overdrive transmission. 12. XX miles since resto. Options: V-8 w/overdrive trans. . gumdipped Firestone whitewalls. trim rings. window rainguards. rear bumper. deluxe heater. radio push button. passenger sunvisor. spare tire. **has original (to the truck) 1951 California license plates as well as orginal ignition key and owner's manual. **This truck runs and drives as new. Has to be one of the nicest in USA. "Undocumented History": per previous owner. Truck was a California movie studio vehicle used in several episodes of Mayberry RFD. After being retired from it's duties. it was purchased by a California Winery and restored to use as an advertising display in their storefront. After that. it was purchased at auction by previous owner and made it's way to Colorado where it is still located by current owner. I have tried to be as descriptive as possible. but am sure there will be more questions. I am selling this vehicle for my Dad and questions are best directed to him: Stan @ 719-322-3637. If you ask questions through eBay. I will get you answers as quick as I can but will be more delayed than a personal call. Shipping is the responsibility of buyer. I truly believe you could fly in and drive this home anywhere if so chosen/preferred. Winning bidder is responsible for deposit of $2. 00 within 48hrs. of auction end. Remaining balance due via cash or bank check within two weeks of auction end. Buyer is responsible for pick up within 30 days of auction unless otherwise arranged with current owner. Note: one of these just sold at Barrett Jackson for $42. 00. I didn't see that one in person so can't judge if this is as nice. but it has to be close and you can take this one without extra auction fees cheaper. On Jan-26-15 at 16:58:42 PST. seller added the following information:Note: this is a three on the tree. not an automatic. Also. the undercarriage is really nice. no embarrassments here!
