You don't see many '35s out there. and fewer still with a blown small block under the hood. A fully build. this is the car for the guy who believes the journey is more important than the destination. Featuring a steel body with fiberglass fenders. this handsome Ford was built in the '90s yet has a timeless look that'll never go out of style. The top's got a traditional chop so it looks low and sleek. but there's no denying the Ford DNA underneath. The '35s got beautiful peaked fenders and the open hood sides reinforce the old school performance vibe. On the other hand. original details like the bullet-shape headlights. V-shaped grille. and dipped bumpers will always be appealing. The dark blue paint is in great shape. showing only the most minor signs of use and age. the chrome is bright. and there are traditional-style pinstripes accenting the belt moldings and rear deck. The leather hood straps are a cool feature. but it's also worth noting that this car comes with hood sides to close it up if that's the look you prefer. The interior is beautifully finished in brown leather. which gives it a very high-class look that was finished just four months ago. You'll enjoy the road even more with the hum of a 350 cubic inch Chevy V8 up front. whose V8 burble is joined by the subtle whine of a B&M blower. which force-feeds the small block enough air to make it feel 150 cubic inches larger. With the open hood sides. you know lots of polished aluminum and chrome were mandatory. but it's not over-done. It looks purposeful. with the accessories tucked in tight to the block and matching valve covers and air cleaner lid. It rumbles like a proper hot rod. but with the overdrive transmission. it's happy to gobble up miles of pavement at a stretch. A Mustang II style independent front suspension is a vast improvement over the original I-beam and offers front disc brakes for safety. The exhaust makes all the right sounds but it never gets annoying at speed and the stance is exactly right. Classic Halibrand wheels with spinners reinforce the timeless look and it rolls on 15-inch blackwall radials.
