Chassis

  • American Stamping Corporation rails with tubular cross-member and removal transmission mount

  • Chrome Pete & Jakes I-Beam axle with custom 1940 Ford style drum brakes that utilize all modern, readily available components (12" x 2" brake shoe)

  • Chrome Pete & Jakes hairpins

  • Chrome Pete & Jakes front leaf spring

  • 9" Ford differential with drum brakes

  • Four-link rear suspension with QA1 adjustable coil-over shocks

  • 16" wire spoke front wheels wrapped in Coker Excelsior rubber

  • 18" wire spoke rear wheels wrapped in Lester rubber


Body

  • Kilbourne Rod Shop fiberglass body

    • These bodies are built around a tubular steel frame work - the most steel inner support as any body I have seen on the market

    • Doors and trunk fit well and both open/close with ease

    • Aluminum windshield stanchions hand cast in Louisville, KY

    • Acrylic curved "glass" manufactured by Shields in Martinsville, IN

      • This is a formed piece of acrylic with a patented coating applied to both sides that is extremely scratch resistant. This coating repels fog and rain.

      • This is the same material used for the windshields on Top Fuel Dragsters, hydroplanes, streamliners, etc.

    • Traditional ram horn exhaust manifolds into exhaust that has been wrapped in heat tape for a traditional look
