Description for Ford F-350 1988

1988 Ford 1-ton Crewcab dually XLT Lariat pickup truck for sale:
  • Full size 8-foot bed with Duraliner bed liner.
  • Power windows (front) and power door locks.
  • Chrome running boards.
  • Body is in great shape.
  • Dual gas tanks.
  • Manual 5-speed transmission.
  • Tilt steering wheel.
  • 10,000 pound tow hitch receiver.
  • Strong running 7.5L (460ci) EFI gas engine.
  • Duralast Platinum (AGM) battery.
  • Maricopa County emissions good through 03-2018.
  • Clean title.

Known mechanical problems with this truck:
  • A/C blows warm. Appears that all the A/C components are intact. Previous owner (in 2009) said it blew cold when he added freon, but that the freon had leaked out.
  • Small power steering pump low-pressure-side hose leak. Minor annoyance; just need to refill periodically with PS fluid.
  • Parking brake lever does not latch.
  • Ignition actuator rod broken (have replacement). Common problem on these older Ford trucks (see YouTube). Push-button starter switch is currently used for starting.
  • Turn signal does not latch in one direction. Still blinks, but the driver needs to hold it in place.
  • Driver's side power door lock actuator is broken. Lock still works fine though; just can't unlock the driver's door using the switches on the front doors.
  • Switch knobs missing for headlights and windshield wipers
  • Very old spare tire.

In addition, there are plenty of cosmetic flaws. Could also use some new weatherstripping here and there. Not bad for a 30-year-old truck though.
