Description for Ford Mustang 1985
You are looking at a 1985 Mustang GT/LX. Took this car as payment of a debt owed by the young man who built it. Can't give exact mileage, but has less than 2K miles since he restored it, (non-rotisserie). Freshly rebuilt 302, new heavy duty clutch/transmission, with a new Holly 750, fresh factory shorty-type headers/stainless exhaust system, an electric (double) fan, an Accel ignition system, (Super Coil). Interior is brand new, and not worn in yet, still smells like it, too. Dash pad not cracked, stereo works, but only has dash speakers, as it wasn't his priority. Sub-frame connectors, tight/lowered suspension, and handles like she's on rails, as it was meant to be used in auto-cross. Car is not perfect, as a rotisserie restoration would be, but I have no reserve price, so she's going to sell, and at a reasonable price, as I decided not to go with a reserve price. Tires are Firestone Indy 500's, (new), and wheels are American Racing Torque-thrust, (new, as well). Brake calipers are painted red, and brakes are new, as well. The body paint isn't perfect, but is shiny, and there are a few dings that he didn't take out before he painted it. This 5.0 is a STRONG runner, however, and a GREAT toy, if that's her intended purpose. Torque was KING in 1985, even if raw HP wasn't. Thanks for looking! On Oct-15-17 at 14:40:56 PDT, seller added the following information:I apologize for not mentioning it in the listing, but the Fox does have A/C, but as I've only had the top up in winter, I never bothered charging it. Also forgot to mention she has adjustable caster/camber, etc.
