Description for Ford Model A 1930
Just a real sweetheart of an original condition Ford Model A that I have owned for several years and I'm apprehensive to part with. I purchased it from a long time owner several years ago in South Dakota while coming home from Las Vegas. The sheet metal on the car is outstanding and so very rust-free and very little in the way of dents except in the rear of the car which you should be able to see. Nothing major but good character. It retains almost all of its original paint including the paint on the dash and the original pinstriping as well. The upholstery is also original. I put some newer Firestone 19 inch tires on it a while back and have driven the car quite a bit. It runs and drives like an old model A that has spent most of his life untouched. It does have the original shocks. I would recommend a thorough going over of the car before making any major trips however I see no serious issues. Even the headliner in the car looks nice yet and it would be an absolute shame to restore this vehicle.
The grill shell, cowl lights, and headlights are some of the nicest I've ever seen and are in near-perfect condition. The glass is also excellent in the car. A good model a hood is also very hard to find and this one is beautiful, straight and the hinges are in great shape as well!! The taxi items are items that I added years ago.
