Up for auction is a 1971 Ford F-250 4WD. 4 Speed. 390 100K+ Miles. It was owned by a close friend of mine who passed away a little over a year ago. and I have been asked by the family to sell it. as they live in other states. It is dual listed. so until the reserve is met. I reserve the right to pull the auction in the event it sells locally. If the reserve is met. I will pull the CL listing as soon as possible. The truck was owned by the same man since 1973 and it was his intention to restore the truck. He had purchased another cab and bed for this purpose. The cab on the truck is rough. The floorboards have extensive rust. and the top of the cab has rusted through right above the windshield seal. The bed is rough and has rust as well. The upside to this is. the cab he purchased is in what I will describe as decent shape. The bed that was purchased is what I can only describe as near perfect. There are 2 small dents. and NO rust. This would make a great project truck. and I have considered it. but do not have the time. Arrangements can be made for anyone interested to look at it. drive it etc. Just contact me. I will work with the buyer in any way possible to load. We have a Bobcat with Forks and can load the extra cab and bed on your trailer. The truck can be driven. and up until his death. my friend drove it regularly. Tires are in good shape. lights work. and it runs fine. However. it has been parked. and while it has been started monthly at a minimum. it has not been driven on the road since 2013. I have been given power of attorney to sell the truck. and have a clear title in my possession. If it sells on eBay. the winning bidder needs to pay $500 via Paypal within 24 hours. The balance will need to be in CASH when the truck is picked up. This is not open for negotiation. No cashier’s checks. wired funds. third party payments etc. CASH! Buyer will have 14 days from end of auction to take procession of the truck. or it will be relisted. and no refunds given.
