Description for Ford Mustang 1967
Welcome to Auto South Inc., today we have for sale this beautiful 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT 500 Tribute! This car was restored here in Gadsden, AL. The car has remained here since restoration and has been driven very seldomly. The car has under 3,000 miles since restoration. It has always been kept inside and most of the time under a cover as well. You must see this car to understand how beautiful it really is!!
This car is originally a 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback. It has been professionally restored from the ground up to replicate a Shelby GT 500! No corners were cut when it came to the restoration of this amazing car. The car started as a 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback with absolutely no prior damage. The restoration started with all new wiring. The car was then fitted with a 351 small black bored 60 with new pistons and rods. It has a Holly 4 barrel carburetor, Edelbrock high rise manifold, and a mild racing cam. This Mustang also has a MSD electronic ignition. These additions supply the car with more than ample power! The heads have been rebuilt to allow the car to run unleaded gasoline, which is nice in todays times. It features a Ford AOD automatic transmission with overdrive and a high stall torque converter. It features a custom built twin muffler exhaust system, and it sounds great! The car was then fitted with power steering and power brakes making it more than a joy to drive! The exterior of the car was transformed to mimic a Shelby GT 500. This includes a new Shelby GT 500 grille and all badges. The rear gas filler cap has also been replaced with one from a Shelby car. The car was then painted a beautiful Pepper Grey Metallic with Black Metallic stripes to an absolute flawless finish! All of the body panels on this Mustang line up great. The chrome bumpers are also in excellent condition! The car was then fitted with American Racing 20" alloy wheels that give the car a great look. The low profile tires are in almost new condition and ride great! The interior of the car has also been meticulously restored. It was complete with two sporty leather seats up front and a folding leather seat in the rear. It is also fitted with a factory appearing air conditioning and a 1967 reproduction AM/FM radio.
