I am selling this 1959 Ford F600 fuel tanker truck. it has a custom cab which means it has a chrome grille and other chrome features as well as a whitesteering wheel. white dash knobs and gear shift knob. it has the original factory installed round radio. his truck has a V8 gas motor and a 5 speed transmission. /p>it also has a electric shift 2speed rear axle. it has 8. 25X20 tires with 6 hole Budd wheels. The odometer shows 00279. and the title shows 59. 00 miles. the mileageis in excess of 100. 00 miles The fuel tanker has 4 compartments and has a tank on each side of it. /p>it has a hose reel and a metering device to dispense the fuel. My father was in the business of selling used vehicles and purchased this truck when it was traded in on a new truck in about 1962. and then sold it to the Paul Berry-Oil company that installed the fuel tanker system on this truck and sold and delivered gasoline. iesel fuel. s well as heating oil in the Kansas City area. Mr. Berryused this truck on a daily basis until his passing in 1986 and my father purchased the truck from his estate in 1987. the truck was in good running condition atthat time but has been sitting since. this truck has been stored inside a building for the last 15 years. he truck cab has some rust and needs the seat recovered aswell as a headliner. the front tires have a lot of tread. nbsp;the rear are fare and all show there age.
