Description for Ford Galaxie 1965

This 1965 Galaxie 500 Convertible equipped with a 289 V8 and a 3 speed column shift transmission. The car runs and drives excellent, and the white convertible top is great condition. Beautiful red exterior and interior with new floor mats, front seat belts, and chrome air cleaner assembly. It also comes with a car cover, new rear seat belts, a new chrome oil pan, and new chrome valve covers that have not been installed, and everything else you see sitting in the trunk. This is a 3rd owner car and it has only been occasionally driven around town and to area car shows for the past 8+ years that I've owned it. It has been garaged by myself and the previous owner. The engine and transmission are original, and all the chrome looks great. The heater works well, as does the original AM radio. It runs and drives well, and I would trust it to go anywhere. The car is 53+ years old, and it has been driven, so the original interior has aged and has blemishes and a couple of small tears in the front seat backs. Paint is not original but is the original color and looks great. I believe the mileage showing on the odometer (currently 49,564) to be original, although I don't know for sure.
