Description for Ford Mustang 1968

This vehicle started life as a 1968 Ford Mustang GT Fastback with 390 engine. It came equipped with 4 speed and Air Conditioning. Factory color was Acapulco Blue. Many years ago; Shelby parts were installed on this body from a real 1968 Shelby GT500 KR fastback of the same color. This is an excellent opportunity to buy a facsimile of a REAL Shelby without the high price tag!

Options: 428 Engine, 4 Speed Manual Transmission, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes and Air Conditioning. Tilt away steering with optional 10 spoke Shelby wheels.

Interior: All Shelby components are from real Shelby KR Fastback.

-Shelby Unique Interior Parts Installed:

Shelby console, gauges, deluxe dash with tachometer, Shelby roll bar and shoulder belts, all correct Shelby deluxe interior. Complete Tilt Steering Wheel and Column.

Aftermarket AM-FM / 8 Track Motorola Radio.

Exterior: Older Paint job, Acapulco Blue. Four Aluminum 10 Spokes early style with valve stems in webbing. BF Goodrich Radial TA 235/60 R15 tires. Spare Rim 14" included (missing tire). Floors have been repaired. All original inner fender aprons with Ford serial numbers. Real Shelby KR Hood and Plenum Installed. Original Ford Doors, Fenders and Quarters. Staggered rear shock plate installed on body.

-Shelby Unique Exterior Parts Installed:

Fiberglass Hood, Headlight Assemblies, Front Valance, Rear Trunk Lid, Rear Quarter Extensions, Rear Tail Light Panel, Upper and Lower Side Scoops.

Engine Compartment: Vehicle has 428 Engine installed. We have not determined if it is a Cobra Jet Engine or Police Interceptor. All smog parts have correct dates. Complete 428CJ Air Cleaner, snorkel with heat riser. Fan shroud and Radiator have been replaced.
