Description for Ford Bronco 1973

1973 FORD BRONCO
ALL NEW METAL WORK!!
ORIGINAL FACTORY 302 V8!!
NO RESERVE!!The Ford Bronco was built from 1966 to 1996 and was a direct response to the success of the Jeep CJ series. Back then they called them ORV's or Off Road Vehicles and were as basic as they come. The Bronco was an all new platform for Ford and was more of an original concept then the Ford Mustang since that was based off the Falcon platform. It was a simple and economical design using flat glass and straight bumpers. Not many creature comforts but rather a tough rugged look that ran right next to Jeep during all terrain driving. Its short wheelbase made maneuvering through tight spots a breeze to drive. The 4WD drive set up with the Dana 30 Limited Slip Axles made it conquer any type of obstacle.
This Bronco offered here today comes with the factory 302 V8, and probably the best color combination offered that year with the light aqua exterior and ivory interior. These trucks are becoming highly sought after and are highly collectible. It has been restored as a driver. Please read on to find out the condition of the Bronco. I've included many photos, a full write up and a video at the bottom. Any questions as you read or view please let me know.
Exterior:
As you can see from the pictures, the Bronco presents very well. But up close you can see some imperfections in the paint. For driver's quality its great, if you want to win concourse judging I would invest in a much better paint job. However, a good machine compound and wax would do it great justice. As far as the body is concerned, it is pretty solid. Underneath the car is solid but could use a good cleaning and detailing. The following has been replaced:
Inner FendersNew RockersNew A PillarNew TanksNew Floors
All the glass is in excellent condition. The wheels are aftermarket and wrapped in rugged BF Goodrich Tires which are 31x10.5x15LT Tires. There have been fender flares added around the fenders. Please take a look at all the pictures and let me know of any questions you may have.
Interior:
The interior has been redone and again is driver quality. It is very well presented but needs a few things such as radio a new dash pad since the current one was custom made I think from fiberglass. There are some replacement parts in a box which include the cluster, radio and some odds and ends. The pictures tell the story the best about the interior. It is definitely a driver quality but leaves some work for little weekend projects. View all the pictures and let me know of any questions you may have.
Drive-Train:
The engine and transmission are original and in excellent maintained condition. The 302 v8 runs quiet and smooth. The carburetor was rebuilt and runs excellent. It could use a little tweaking to makes this 5.0L perform to its best potential...such as set the timing, and a basic tune up. The 4x4 drive system works as it should as well. A custom dual exhaust system was added and it sounds great. The Bronco came with 2 tanks but a faulty switch allows you only to fill one tank. Please watch the video and see how this truck runs and sounds. If you have any questions please let me know.
In Summation:
I know the value of these trucks are increasing by the day. There has been a lot of restoration work that was put into this particular Bronco. All the expensive work has been done and now the fun parts are left for you whether it be a father son project or just some weekend tinkering, this could be a good fit for you.
