Description for Ford Mustang 1969
Selling this beautiful 1969 Ford Mustang convertible. Engine is a 302 V8. nbsp;4V (four-barrel) and is attached to a three-speed automatic transmission. Red paint with a white convertible top in good condition. Original chrome in decent shape with typical aging marks and condition for its age. This car only has 64. 00 miles on it and has always been kept indoors since I've owned it -- and I know the previous owners garaged it as well. I bought it from a man in Pennsylvania and have enjoyed it for several years but it's time for me to focus on some other things. so the car is looking for a new home and a new owner who will also appreciate and enjoy this fine piece of muscle-car machinery. Ford only made a small number of convertibles in 1969. This particular car was originally a 2-barrel 302 v8 and now has a 4-barrel Holley carb. The three-speed auto transmission is coupled to a 4:11 rear end. which translates to rubber-burning capability and fast acceleration off the line. I haven't done much in the way of hard driving in the car. as I tend to baby it a little. but let's just say you have to be a careful and make sure you don't push the pedal down too quickly when starting from a full stop at an intersection. in order to make sure you don't spin the tires. The paint and top are in good shape. the body is clean and solid. There are two small paint blemishes (small chips. not bubbles) on the back corner edge of each door. which can be easily touched up. I've debated over whether to sell this car or not. It's my favorite model year and has been a lot of fun. But. it's time for someone else to be recipient of the "looks" and all those "Hey. I like your car!" comments while cruising town with the top down and the power flow exhaust growling. This vehicle is for sale locally and seller reserves the right to cancel or end the auction early if sold.
