Description for Ford Mustang 1970
When Ford introduced the Ford Mustang in 1964 an instant love affair with the American Pony Car was born. The Mustang was smaller, lighter, and more nimble that any American manufacturer had produced thus far. This coupled with its fresh design, the Ford Mustang became a must-have among the American public. A wide range of engines, trim options, body styles, and transmissions meant that there was a Mustang to please everyone. 1970 represented one of the greatest periods for the... Ford Mustang. With multiple different performances options available (GT, Boss 302, Cobra Jet 428, Shelby GT350, Shelby GT500, Mach 1) the Mustang was the darling of American performance. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this lovely 1970 Mustang Boss 302 tribute car for your consideration. This car features an older restoration and was original painted Grabber Blue before it was changed to Calypso Coral. The exterior is in stunning shape, with a very excellent repaint on the straight body. The car features the classic 302 graphics and is complemented by the rear spoiler, window louvers, and factory alloy wheels with BF Goodrich tires. The interior is very clean and features cloth and vinyl bucket seats. The interior has the wood grain trim, wood rimmed steering wheel, Hurst shifter, radio, and full instrumentation. A claimed $70k was put into the restoration of this vehicle and the car features a 1985 302cid Crate engine mated to a 5-speed Tremec T-5 with upgraded suspension and gearing. Other features include front disc brakes, larger sway bars and flat top pistons. The car runs and drives very well, and fires up every time without hesitation. With original Boss 302s trading near the six figure mark, this wonderful tribute still makes an impression in person and in your bank account!
