This is not your typical " Rat " ro, I hate even putting the word rat before it. This is not your typical unsafe backyard built bump steer specia, with 30 year old dried out yellow bias ply tires .. This is a professional built Cali car. This lil Roadster drives like a hot rod should! Its safe and in my opinion the most fun you can have on four wheels! Its motorcycle fun ! I drive this car 2 hours each way to the Catskills every other weeken, and people cannot take their eyes off her !,
On to the car compositio, 31 Ford steel pickup cab, along with Ford tail gate. The frame is a Pro built seamless detailed frame . The pickup bed is fabricated as well. The roadster is titled as a 1928 Ford Model A pickup and the VIN on the frame matches the clear title . The engine and trans were rebuilt, perform great and are from a 1956 Crown vic. 272 ci and Ford o matic auto trans . Tri carbs are fitted to a polished intake. Car sounds great with open carbs on the road . The generator is really an alternator in disguise again period correct looking . The tires are brand new under 600 miles Coker Bias look radial, 1200 bucks worth of quality rubber. Car handles and drives awesome with the, at time you almost feel you're driving a normal car based on the way she handles and hold the road . The car is not a back breaker by any means ! again I go long distances in her. The interior is all piped and pleated right outside to the flip bed cover . For used Harley Davidson money you can own a one of a kind vintage style hot rod that commands a ridiculous amount of attention . You will never have this much fun in any other car, its adult go cart that's street legal ! I have right to end auction early for I will be advertising her at the local shows and I don't expect her to not sell based on my low reserve.
Please look at all the pics I posted pics of the bottom of this ca, something you don't see too often on rat/rod sales . I wanted to show the detail and integrity of this fine build. This was a time consuming build with detai, safety and quality in mind. She even has the monster Buick brake drums upfront for great stopping power and a traditional look .
