Description for Ford Model T 1927

Due to health issues its time to thin the herd, my loss your gain. This 1927 T is a spectacular low mileage all original car, that has never been exposed to the weather, and has had no rust out ever.
ALL the sheet metal on this car is the factory original, and it has had one coat of paint over the original, (probably back in the 1970's) which is still very presentable inside and out. The body and hood have NO bondo, and probably the fenders also. The original factory green paint is in terrific condition inside the body under the upholstery, I found that out when we had to repair a window regulator shortly after buying it. The car also has the factory 1927 cost-option wire wheels and bumpers.
The fenders, running-boards and splash aprons are all factory originals and in perfect shape, except for a small crack in the left rear, see photos. I don't think the body has ever been off the frame since it left the factory. All the upholstery has been nicely re-done in Green Mohair, as well as all the inner panels and headliner. The seats are very comfortable.
As to the mechanics, the engine has the distinct handprint of Bud Hand on it, I don't know that for sure, but it has all the earmarks. It has pressure oiling to the mains, and a separate tube to the trans cover to oil the trans, because the magnets have been removed to accommodate an oil pump. It has aluminum pistons, stainless valves, a hi compression stock looking aluminum head, an original era Bosch front engine cover plate with a newer Bosch distributor, and a new Brassworks flat tube radiator. It has Kevlar bands, a large drum Ruxtell 2 speed rear axle that has been fully rebuilt with modern bearings, and Rocky Mountain brakes attached to the hand lever. I know all this because the previous owner had taken some of the mechanics apart before passing away, and I had to re-assemble it all. He said it was always a garaged California car, and it sure looks like it.
It starts easily and runs like a little watch, we took it on the 40th annual Modoc big car tour last year, and it ran over all the mountains of Northern Cal and Southern Oregon without a hiccup, we never even raised the hood once. It drives smoothly, is very tight, and runs along all day at 40-45 MPH. It is far more comfortable to ride in than any other Model T that I have ever owned. The block in it is a 1926, but I do have the original 27 that matches the frame number, to go along with it.
