Description for Ford Mustang 1965
This car gets all of the cool elements right. After all, it's a 1964.5 Ford Mustang coupe, has plenty of V8 power, and all the right upgrades â€" including a cool GT350 package. Does that make it all the best features in one? Heck yea! Everyone clamors for a Wimbledon White first-year Mustang like this one. This was the color of the very first car because it just gave the early 1964.5 cars a regal appearance. But you... love this one for more than just its history. It has a great GT350-style intimidation factor with a nice set of blue stripes painted on the hood and sides. In fact, just look at the details work on the rocker stripes and how they continue inside the wheel opening so that nothing gets in their way. Plus, the details are nice and aggressive with the hood scoop, side scoops, and exhaust coming out of the rear valance. There's even an upgraded set of Ridler 17-inch wheels so you can fit proper modern performance tires. Just like the exterior, the interior takes classic style and gives it some nice upgrades. For starters, you still get the same low-back bucket seat profile you love in an early Mustang, but now there's a comfortable armrest center console with cup holders. The radio looks correct, but it's actually a retro-style unit with a digital tuner and an input for modern music players. Even the steering wheel has been upgraded to a grippy sports unit. Beyond the improvements you can also tell there has been a solid investment to getting this classic feeling fresh and clean. Under the hood, the Cobra valve covers and long Cobra air topper make for a nice presentation. Plus, as an early D-code mustang, you'll be happy to have a 289 cubic-inch V8 under the hood. You'll even notice some 1964.5-correct features like the generator. This one has also been improved where it counts. For example, the Holley four-barrel carburetor with electric choke means good power and an easy start. It makes a nice rumble from the newer stainless dual exhaust. Out on the road, features like the three-speed automatic transmission and power steering means you can show off this early Mustang with Shelby attitude everywhere with ease. Complete with owner's manual, this is a sharp-looking Shelby tribute with a great history, too. So if you like your classic with a story to tell, don't let this one slip away. Call now!
