Description for Ford Mustang 1967
1967 Ford Mustang factory V8 4 speed Posi. The car runs and drives very well, I've put a little over a thousand miles on it this summer. The engine is a 289 with a Holley 4160 carburetor, offenhauser 360 intake manifold, streetable cam, headers and dual exhaust. It also has gear drive instead of a timing chain, so it has that blower like sound. Directly after the headers are electric header cutouts; there is a button on the dash to open and close them. The dual exhaust sounds great, not too loud when the headers are closed and really rips when they are open. The 4 speed shifts well, has a new hurst shifter. The car has 4 wheel power disc breaks and power steering, as well as line lock. The front suspension is new and the rear shocks are new. Sway bar in the front and traction bars in the rear, there's very little body roll. The car sits on Weld Racing aluminum rims with 205/60R15 tires on the front and 255/60R15s on the rear, the tire tread is good. The interior is original and in decent shape, there is a rip in the top of the rear seat that is pictured and a crack in the dash (also pictured). All the gauges work, has a Kenwood stereo and tilt steering. Original Mustang floor mats, no horn-- all wiring is there. The paint is in fair shape, the car was painted several years back and it shows its age in places, examples in pictures. Overall this is a solid running and driving 67 Mustang, not a show car, but very presentable. It has the typical rust that a 51 year old car would have, but this car is ready to be driven and enjoyed like I have all summer. I hate to sell it but need the funds for a new car. Clean title and collector plates. If you have any questions feel free to shoot me a message. Buyer responsible for shipping. Deposit of $500 due within 48 hours of sale.
