Build Sheet 1986 Mustang Cobra Tribute (build date approx. 2010-2011)A briefback story... I purchased this car from a gentleman that bought it to show, who purchased it from the builder, supposedlya Ford mechanic who wanted to build a 1986 Cobra.It is a beautiful car, very well built. The car is basically a show car that is extremely powerful.I purchased this car because I had a white 1986 Foxbody in 1988 and wanted another. Call it nostalgia, a mid-life crises, or reliving my youth. I came across this beautiful example of my original 4 eyed fox one online. After I purchased it, I took it to a local mechanic, and had him go through everything, and if it needed anything, I had him do it. He replaced some seals, changed the oil using Royal Purple, and added a new air conditioner and all related components. It is an original a/c car, but when it was re-built, the a/c was removed, so I had a completely new system added.I realize now that being 50 years old, I have a harder time driving a car like this, so I thought maybe someone else might enjoy it. But if I keep it, I will continue to refine it to accommodatea man that realizes he is not 21 anymore. Besides, not only it is an investment, but a reminder of good times.
