CONTACT JEFF AT 570 977 0741. Up for sale and your consideration is a really nice 1946 Ford Street Rod Coupe powered by a fresh built high performance 351 Windsor V8 and C6 automatic transmission. This is a turn-key drive it home car that can be enjoyed immediately on the day of purchase. It is not a 100 point show car. but has great curb appeal and would be a hit at any car show or cruise. Please take the time to look over all 24 photos listed here on the auction. I have included underside photos to highlight the solid undercarriage of this car. BODY:As you can see from the photos the all steel body is clean and straight and coated with a stunning bright red paint (Color code not known). Although it's a northeast car with a few minor rust issues having been addressed. underside photos are included to show the integrity of the floors and frame. New tinted glass was installed at the time of the restoration. The passenger window has a crack at the very bottom but it does not affect vision or the rolling up or down of the window. The front and rear bumpers are correct for the 1946 model year with the ford emblem on the rear bumper. They have just received fresh chrome replating. All stainless trim is presentable. INTERIOR:Interior is black vinyl with bucket front seats and a rear seat from a later vehicle. The front buckets swivel to the side to allow easy entry to the rear seat area. Dash is in excellent condition with added engine monitoring gauges and tachometer. The gas gauge works. The speedometer. horn and wipers do not work. All lights and turn signals work. The headliner is brand new. Carpet is also new. ENGINE:Engine is a fresh built 351 Windsor with a mild cam. hi-po heads with solid lifters. Engine is dressed out with black and red script Ford Racing valve covers. A Moroso air cleaner with red lid tops the motor. The engine is topped with an Edelbrock Streetmaster 351 intake manifold with a 1" spacer. Carburetor is a Holley 650 Double pumper dual feed carb. Fuel is delivered by a hi-flow chrome fuel pump and chrome fuel filter and chrome dual carb feed lines. Wires are Ford Motorsport 8mm wires. Distributor is new with a red cap. There is an Accel Super Stock ignition coil. Alternator is new. All hoses and belts are new. Check out the engine photos. Even every bolt on the motor is brand new grade 8 bolts. Motor paint is like new. Custom bent dual exhaust exits through headers and 2-1/2 pipes with Flowmaster mufflers. Transmission is a fresh C6 unit and rear end is a 9" ford non posi unit with 3. 25 rear ratio gears for easy highway cruising. WHEELS/TIRES:A set of 15" Competition Series Style polished aluminum mag wheels with matching chrome lug nuts are on the car. Tires are in like new condition. 205/70-15 up front and nice wide 275/60-15 in the rear. The result is a nice rake to the car with correct geometry for steering up front and stance and profile in the rear. SUMMARY:My summary of this car is based on a complete and thorough physical inspection. and conversation with the previous owner. It was purchased already built and received a few improvements before being listed. I have accurately and honestly described this car to the best of my knowledge and ability.
