Description for Ford Bronco 1969
This 1969 Ford Bronco was purchased by the selling dealer out of Arkansas in 2012 on behalf of a client, shortly after the previous owner installed a fiberglass body and a fuel-injected 5.0-liter V8 from a late 1980s Mustang. After being transported to New York, the truck was worked on for 18 months during which time it was repainted Kubota Orange and fitted with a new fiberglass hood, six-point roll cage, pre-runner bumpers, and nerf bars. Additional upgrades include an... NV3550 5-speed manual gearbox with a short shifter, a Saginaw power steering box, power front disc brakes, new Dana 4:11 gears, a suspension lift, Corbeau bucket seats, and more as described below. The doors and tailgate are made from steel while the rest of the tub consists of fiberglass panels. During the Kubota Orange repaint, the frame was also treated with POR-15 to help prevent corrosion issues. Some surface rust is present on various chrome surfaces. The suspension and body lifts provides room for 33×12.5″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO tires, which are mounted on 15″ steel wheels painted to match the bumpers, grille, roll cage, and dashboard. The rear suspension was inspected and serviced last month, and nerf bars provide easier ingress and egress on both sides. In addition to the six-point roll cage, a set of Corbeau Classic front seats and a matching rear bench are equipped. The floors have been coated with durable orange bed-liner material, and several billet aluminum dashboard switches were installed by the seller. Heim joint steering linkage is equipped and the twin-stick transfer case can be seen above. Currently, the odometer shows 11,394 miles. Total mileage is unknown, and approximately 2k miles have been added over the past two years. Power comes from a late 1980s Mustang electronically fuel-injected 5.0-liter V8. The engine has been converted to a 1990s MAF EMS and was reportedly dyno-tuned. Performance upgrades include an Edelbrock intake manifold, cold-air intake system, Magnaflow headers, and a Magnaflow dual exhaust system. This Bronco was built for a client of the selling dealer, who has kept the car at his beach home and driven it sparingly in recent years. A new rear differential was recently installed, Nearly $10k in recent parts receipts accompany the sale
