Description for Ford Custom Street Rod 1946
1946 Ford Custom 2 door Street Rod- Chopped 5 1/2", Shaved door and trunkhandles. Beautiful Custom deer skin leather interior with wood dash, Power windows, Air conditioning, Custom Stereo with 6 CD changer, Nice set of gauges. Automatic ( 700R with overdrive), Power steering, Drum Brakes, Chevy Crate Engine with a B & M 871 Blower with 2 Holley Carbs, Billet trim all over engine, Headers with custom exhaust.. This is a great looking car that can be driven anywhere. I am listing this car for a good friend of mine who bought this car at the Barrett-Jackson auction about 10-11 years ago, He got busy with other things and the car sat for almost 10 years. In fact the new tags for the car in 2009 were in the console but never put on. Because the car was purchased at an auction, we do not know a few details like cubic inches on motor, we were told it was a Chevy crate engine and he claimed that with the blower it made 700 hp. We have not verified that fact. The car drives good and gets a lot of attention, especially when you open the hood. The CD Player,Battery, and Gas fill are accessed in the trunk. We just pulled it out, changed the fluids ( oil and oil filter, Fuel and fuel filter), Installed a new Optima Deep cycle battery, and got the car running good after sitting for so long. We were told when the car was purchased that it had been restored 18 months before. The Car looks really good, the paint is a great color and shows well, while there are no dents or dings or even chips in the paint, I did see about 4 scratchs and cracks in finish the worst is a crack in the finish on the trunk which is between 2- 2 1/2" long. I have taken pictures of all of them so take a good look at the photos. The car looks so good you have to really look to see any of them. There is no warranty offered and Owner reserves the right to pull the car early from auction if necessary. The car is in Mesa, Arizona, and any shipping will be paid for by the buyer
