The A/C, Air Conditioner does not cool. The seals in the air conditioning system have probably dried out due to lack of use, thus releasing all the refrigerant. The bucket seats and center console are donors from a Ford Bronco, You will note an area on the driver's side of the bed that there is a hole, covered with a magnet, from a previous CB radio antenna. The original antenna and CB radio are included. It has been used sparingly, has been serviced regularly. It looks good and runs excellent. It is basically a Tank and indestructible. This truck is ready for Work and Play! The truck does get many compliments...
International began development of the 6.9 L in 1978. It was not until 1983 that Ford offered the 6.9 Diesel option in its 3/4 & 1-ton trucks. The 6.9 L displaced 420 cubic inches, features indirect injection (IDI), and had no turbocharger. Horsepower & torque ratings peaked in 1986, producing 170 horsepower @ 3,300 RPM & 315 lb-ft. @ 1,400 RPM. The 6.9 was known for being simple in design & making great power at a low RPM (peak torque @ 1,400 RPM from a V-8 diesel). Though the performance of the 6.9 is far from today's standards, it was a solid performer of its time and has a history of reliability & dependability.
The Ford C6 is a heavy-duty automatic transmission built by Ford Motor Company between 1966 and 1996. It was marketed as the "SelectShift Cruise-O-Matic". Compared to its predecessor MX transmission, the C6 offered lower weight, less complexity, less parasitic power loss, and greater torque capacity for larger engines. It did this without exceeding the packaging dimensions of the MX.
