Description for Ford Model A 1930
Here's one of the nicest and best maintained Deluxe Ford Roadsters, made by Harry Shay in 1980, that I have ever seen. Garage kept its entire life with only 16K miles on the car. Beautiful original Tan color compliments the black interior and polished chrome all over this car. Features a fiberglass Model A Ford body on a Mustang chassis & suspension with a 4-cylinder motor. Runs and drives like a modern car with the look and class of an antique.
Features: -superb running Ford engine, 4-speed manual trans with upgraded shifter, new custom cloth roof with opening rear center window, new custom-made side-curtains, new ball joints and bushings in suspension, 5 new Firestone tires & tubes, new carpeting, new brakes, new Dietz headlights, black GT steering wheel and 1930s stone-guard on the radiator, 1930 style Ford taillights, and original Model A horn. Even has a custom top boot to cover the roof when folded down.
All lights work and heater will keep you warm during the colder months. Gas tank gauge is a little off. Has a chrome Model A quail radiator cap, chrome spare tire cover, rear trunk, windshield wipers, locking doors and can handle 60+ miles per hour easily. This car runs strong and is very peppy. Shifts through all gears flawlessly and stops easily.
I bought this car not long ago and now have some major life bills to pay so it needs to find a new home. Winner to pay $500 deposit within 24 hours of auction close and balance is due within a week or so. Cash or bank wire are accepted. Has a clear title, but I am keeping the 1930 Illinois plates. Please ask any questions before bidding. If you need more pics, just ask. Thanks for looking. Text questions to 630-935-8561.
