Description for Ford Falcon 1964

Here's a 1964 Ford Falcon Futura V8 car. Had this for several years now but didn't drive it a whole lot. It's in excellent condition for not being a show car. just yet. Some things that have been repaired. replaced or redone:Inside upholstery has been redone: Bench seats. carpet headliner. etc. Chrome trim. had either been refinished and/or replaced. Engine had been rebuilt by the previous owner 289 V8 engine size. Holly carburetor. etc. All exterior lights work. blinkers. parking lights. All indicator gauges work such as gas gauge. Temp. MPH (slides a little but still gives a good indication on how fast you're going). Has exhaust manifolds. but do have the headers if preferred. I also have a number of boxes with items for the car. such as original steering wheel (broken). power steering pump. glove box cardboard. etc. Things to consider:The power steering mechanism was removed by a previous owner. I suggest it should be put back but I haven't done this yet. Although the front and back windshield weather stripping has been replaced. there's some leakage when under water. such as rain. Should be a simple fix. Door weatherstripping needs to be redone. Someone cut out a piece where the radio should be. so it's not the original dimensions for the radio. The trim where the glove box is. is not on. but I do have the piece to put it back on (see glove box picture). Brakes are drum. which are old and can be upgraded to disk conversion kit. Needs mirror for passenger side. windshield wipers work but sometimes stop. Dashboard lights stopped working but should be an easy fix. Needs radio. Could use some new tires. Driving at higher speeds tends to get a little unstable in the control of the car. Not sure of this issue. but it may have to to do with suspension. I never have drove it on the freeway/highway. only local streets. Car needs just a little tender. loving. care. Really a small investment can really make it a near show piece. I know I didn't give a whole of specifics but I tried to give a good description of what's going on here. If you have any questions please ask. Serious inquires only please. Individuals with excessive negative feedback or new to eBay please contact me prior to bidding or else I will cancel your bid. Thank you.
