Description for Ford F-100 1964
Offered for sale this rare 50 year old survivor from the cabin. bought from the widow of an old gentleman from Loon Lake . Washington . this is an original truck and all stock runs and drives just as you would expect it to drive. starts right up and runs down the road straight. I buy and sell as well as fix up these old relics but this one has me a little confused. I have everyone giving me different ideas on this one I was planning on going the shop truck look. but many people say that thing is so pure why change anything? others say killer " drag car push truck" others say " Bonneville push truck" how a bout a low shop truck. or how about a great advertising truck . Anyway I have 2 others units I have to get done first so I thought I would try an auction on this one as is and let you decide what way to go. I bought a good running 302 c. i. with a C-4 trans complete out of a Mustang that will go with this truck however this truck runs and drives good as it is " again another disisson" just needs the easy to buy engine mounts and trans mounts under $ 140. 00 for them. So if you want a better engine and trans put it in if not sell them. they will be mounted on a frame of some sorts in the bed for shipping. I did a couple of mock ups of how this truck could be done I again think this is a lot cheaper than doing it. If you have question please ask before sale ends not after. this is a 50 year old truck so expect it to drive that way. As far as rust goes there are 3 areas that have some damage the areas are both rear fender below the step line in the front of fender ( can't really see them. and just inside the drivers door where your left foot would rest there is a little daylight coming thru. both repairs are very easy. The 292 v 8 engine runs strong with just a little lifter noise. the trans might be leaking a little fluid might plan on some trans work if you keep it stock. I heard the 302 run and drove the car before I bought the engine and trans. it includes all that go with it they just pulled engine and trans together as a unit and have everything including rad. hoses ect. starter . alt. ect. The door art is just on the drivers side and again is just a decal mock up however I will include my rendition of your logo ect on the doors if the truck brings the buy it now price or more for free. I would send you proofs before finishing. Most the patina is faux that I did. the truck itself had complete paint but had chips in the areas I redid in patina. The truck would come to you with the stock wheel and tires set up not moons. I pride myself what I sell online and find good communication the key to not having problems so ask questions if you have them. I have more pictures on request. Call anytime 24/7 leave message if missed for those out of country buyers. I have set the reserve I think to sell . if it does not sell I will keep it and just put it ion line to get done.
