Description for Ford F-100 1967
A value-priced 1967 Ford F-100 Stepside is already quite intriguing. But as you dig in a little deeper, you'll see this vintage workman has a cool secret. First off, the full Acadian Blue package with a hint of chrome gives off a feeling that's mixture of tradesman's ride and classic hot rod. And the addition of 15-inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels reinforce this feeling further. Plus, Ford did an amazing job in '67 with its new F-Series. Broad shoulders, nicely creased sides, and a hint of fender flare make for a nice-looking truck. The curves of the stepside body always looks sporty. While the real wood in the truck bed reminds you it's job-ready, this one has a touch of custom with the Ford crest taillights, bright dual exhaust tips, and the pin striping on the tailgate. The blue continues inside, and now it's joined by a tasteful black on the seat, dash, and carpeting. Your first impression might be a clean and stock classic, but then take a closer look. The Grant GT sports steering wheel (power steering), auxiliary gauge trio, and large SunPro tach on the column all point to something special hood. Your eyes are seeing the engine bay correctly â€" it's a 300 cubic-inch inline-six motor. That's a larger displacement than some of Ford's best V8s, and that's not even the whole story. It was built by Comardo Racing Engines in Florida. They added a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Offenhauser Intake, MSD ignition, and split Headman headers. It's a tidy and unique presentation, and so they know you'll want to show it off. That's why there's special LED lighting in the engine bay. The rumble this one makes out of the dual exhaust is V8-worthy, and this upgraded motor could probably teach those V8s a few lessons on the streets. That's especially true with the control provided by the column-shifted three-speed manual transmission and the stout Ford 9-inch rear end. A well-priced classic with a cool look and a unique heart. The F-100 is a heck of a deal, so you know you need to hurry if you want to take it home. Call now!
