Description for Ford Victoria 1951
The 1951 Ford Victoria marks Ford's return after WWII to offering a car with added styling and premium touches. Of course, when it comes on a super-slick hot rod with great paint, an A/C interior, and upgraded V8 power, then this is the perfect coupe to fit in with any vintage crowd. When you want a cool-looking custom, the Victoria is the right place to start. Its pillarless hardtop design with wraparound rear window is a premium feature that makes this far rarer than the standard coupe. But this is so darn attractive that Ford Victorias actually outsold Chevy's line-topping Bel Air in '51. This one looks amazing dressed all in black. It's a super glossy application that really announces this as a custom machine with added touches like the shaved door handles and subtle painted graphics that run along the doorline. Plus, you even have frenched headlights and power antenna for added sleekness. Like any good 1950s coupe, this one has plenty of brightwork led by the front end that expertly mixes the bumper and grille into one comprehensive design. There's great trim running down the side of the car and around the hardtop (don't you love the details like the ford family crest at the base?) Plus, there's a ton of brightwork upgrades, like the lake pipes, classic Cadillac wheel covers, and the bumper wrapping around the upgraded continental kit. It's a total custom package that earns its Black Thunder name seen on the rear wheel. The interior tells you this one is special, too. It starts with the black and gray two-tone that is so nicely interwoven, you even get this color combined on the fabric seat inserts. It's such a uniform presentation that you'll love showing it off. But more than just look great, this was meant to be a true comfortable cruiser. That's why you have upgrades like an AM/FM/CD stereo, fresh carpeting, and cold-blowing air conditioning running modern R134a. The newer dual-spoke steering wheel gives you a nice view of the big art deco speedometer. And one look at the full set of gauges, including the expertly integrated aftermarket ones, and you'll know there's something special under the hood. This custom is powered by Ford's mighty 302 cubic-inch V8. It's nice to see a Ford get upgraded in the engine bay, while still keeping the power in the blue oval family. This one has been dressed to impress with custom blue paint on the block that also coordinates with the painted ridges in the polished air topper and valve covers. It inhales deeply with a Holley dual-feed four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with a sweet rumble thanks to the glasspack-style dual exhaust. This one is built to enjoy, and so you get great driving features like the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes with front discs. There's so many more custom touches to go over â€" everything from the louvered hood to LED upgrades. So give us a call for all the details on this amazing custom and comfortable classic Ford.
