Description for Ford 3-Window 1933
This 1933 Ford 3-Window Coupe is a very well-crafted take on the vintage Ford model that's been the coveted foundation for many street rod projects over the years. It checks all the proverbial boxes that matter most with its magnetic curb appeal, nicely appointed interior and strong running drivetrain. The finished overall appearance of this coupe makes a great first impression. It's got a great stance - just low enough to the ground to provide a custom look while still retaining the wheel clearance for everyday driving conditions, with a tasteful incline. Take a closer look and you'll see that the chopped top has the same balance - it's plenty aggressive, but there's still ample windows space on hand for practical visibility while on the road. The silver and black color scheme really looks nice in this setting and it's in strong condition, with a smooth texture from front to back. It's clad over a fiberglass body that offers that sought after favorable power to weight ratio when paired with the strong engine up front while showing no warpage or stress cracks. The suicide doors with their shaved handles allow the paint to take center stage and the semi-open engine compartment provides a glimpse of the powerplant inside that can be amplified when you so choose via the LED lights inside. Up front, the Halo headlights sit astride a great looking billet grille in their clean casings. There's one seriously impressive interior waiting beyond the doors, showing both plenty of eye candy inside to attract stares, but also featuring a well-thought out array of features that make this Ford a pleasure to drive. The quality of the work on the two-tone bench seat is evident right away - sporting matching silver inserts on both the driver and passenger side, it's as comfortable as they come and hasn't picked up much wear over its relatively short life span. The detail work inside the cabin is really striking. The door panels to each side complement the look of the seating nicely, as do the headliner, center console and dash panel. In front of the billet steering wheel sitting on its tilt column, the collection of white faced VDO gauges looks great against the black steel of the dash, with properly vintage fonts. The comfort and convenience features on hand here are something you frequently see with more modern cars - a Vintage Air climate control system, cruise control and power windows have all been added and a Pioneer AM/FM stereo with iPod connectivity stands by in the center of the dash to handle audio duties. From the side you can get a glimpse of the 350V8 that powers this well-crafted street machine. It's armed with a pair of Edelbrock E-Street heads and a Holley 4-barrel carb, as well as an HEI ignition and it's running strong and looking sharp with its chrome dress up kit. There's a 4-speed 700r4 transmission sitting just behind it, so this Ford is well-equipped to cruise easily at highway speeds without winding up the RPMs too much. The Mustang II front suspension offers a number of advantages, including adjustable coilovers, as well as power rack and pinion that's nice and precise and it joins the power discs and coilovers also positioned in back to equip this '33 with responsive stopping ability and easy navigation as it draws stares on its set of 15" American Racing Torq Thrust II wheels outfitted with BF Goodrich T/A radials. If you're on the hunt for a well-crafted strong running vintage performer, you really need to see this 1933 Ford 3-Window Coupe. Call today!
