Thank you for viewing my auction. Up for your consideration is a very unique 1968 Ford Truck. The truck was special ordered as an RV and originally had a 12 foot cab over camper. The truck is 159 inch wheelbase but with a standard cab and a 10 foot Moryville utility bed. The camper is long gone. The VIN decodes as follows;F35=F-350 two wheel driveH = 390 cubic inch engineR = San Jose assembly plant159E = 159" wheelbase. F351=8. 00lb gvw. E=sky view blue. 81=regular cab. G= Automatic Transmission. B= medium blue crushed vinyl interior. D6= Dana 70 3. 73 locking rear axle. you get the ideaThis truck is very cool and gets lots of looks while driving. it would be perfect for a small business or a landscaping company as it is a great form of advertising. The truck has power steering. power disc brakes. factory A/C. Outlaw wheels. and of course the factory utility bed. The truck is very solid with only some very minor surface rust around the latches and hinges on the bed and minor surface issue on the drip rail where the camper once sat. Truck is very. ery solid. Runs and dives great. Drive anywhere. The original 390 is gone and has been replaced with a 1984 460 and matching c-6 trans. Engine has edelbrock performer RPM intake. holley 600. new power steering pump. New front brakes. HD cooling system. trans cooler. Grant steering wheel. seat cover. glass is good. Utility bed in excellent condition. The truck does need some minor things taken care of. Set up for two gas tanks. only has one and guage is not working. horn does not work. radio (missing guts) does not work. power steering leak from steering box. Hi beam switch needs replaced. seat needs recovered. truck could use paint. Probably couple other things that I am forgetting. but nothing major. truck runs like a raped ape. I have collect some extra and or new parts that go with; hi-beam switch. chrome front bumper( I have not changed it because the original has a custom air intake in it). HEI distributor. original steering wheel. passing gear kickdown rod. I love the old truck. but too many right now and it is too cool to use for work. I added the tailgate as it originally did not have one with the camper. I am told that it was a company in Denver that did the conversions for Ford. I was told the mileage of 56. xx is original. however I have no way to verify. and the truck is almost 50 years old. It has spent it whole life in California. New Mexico and now Colorado.
