Description for Ford Mustang 1969
I'd probably regret considering sellingmySOLID 1969 California Q-code.I don't have to sell it, nor am I desperate to do so.But let's see what happens...1969 Mustang Mach 1
CA, San Jose-R car. This Mach 1 was built and remained inSouthern California, all of its life, until a year ago.All 1969 Ford sheetmetal.Solid floors.Solid Rails.Solid Torque Boxes.Solid inner and outer Rocker panels.Solid Trunk.Solid fenders and quarters.Solid doors. Some dents in the roof, and a couple of small ones around the car.
Raven Black on Black interior. The motor is running sweet, and it's sitting comfortably in storage.See Deluxe Marti report for more details.
Has a correct dated FE block, C6, 9" rear. The original AC platform is there.May even be the original 428 CJ Cobra Jet motor. With this almost 50 year old car,I have no knowledge or history of what it's been through.Windshield vin plate is gone, ordering new one from Marti.Engine compartment/under fender vin is in tact.Marti matches car and options.Appears to have had one at least partial repaint.Fenders and hood are OEM but do not look original to the car.Has the reinforced shock towers.Has AC vents in dash, covered with plastic NON AC dash cover. The local speed shop guy who tuned it for me confirmedthat it this FE hasalready been rebuilt.Could use some front end work, and some minor stuff to be a really great driver.Working on getting all the lights working.I'll keep at it, till it sells.
Currently legally registered in Vermont, in my name, can be legally transferred to any state.
Before putting it in storage:Rebuilt the OEM correct carb.Cleaned out the tank.Installed new braided tranny lines.Rebuilt the alternator.Rebuilt the water pump.New OEM style Radiator and shroud.New 7 blade fan.
Got rid of the Magnums.Mounted a brand new set of Coopers on GT style wheels.I like the look better.
Had her for about a year now,and I have a lot of parts for it too.New sail panels.New headliner.OEM back seat side panelsSome OEM AC equipment, hoses, etc.OEM Gold stripe kit.New Marker lights and bezels.New interior screws and fasteners.New upper engine harness.OEM Correct 428 Valve Covers.OEM floor console parts.OEM Rim Blow steering wheel.New Repro door tag from Marti.Deluxe Marti Report.Interior is unrestored.Door panels are nice, possibly repops.Seats in good shape, some small tears.Sport Deck/Fold Down functions perfectly.I'll add interior pics when I can.
Video after picking it up from the shop.More work has been done since.Car is in storage.Needs to be completed to whatever you want it to be,or drive it as is and work as you go.
