Description for Ford Mustang 1967
Available for sale is a highly optioned C code 289 V8 C4 Automatic 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible with a clean and clear title in hand. The car originally came equipped with power steering and power convertible top from the factory. The car was originally painted beautiful and highly desirable Clearwater Aqua with Aqua interior and a white convertible top. This is a true barn find, the car was bought from the original owner in great original condition. The car was last on the road in 1984 then was parked in a barn on a farm in PA and forgotten about all its life until now! The 67 mustang is one of the most sought after first generation Mustangs because 67 was the first year Ford felt pressured to make major design and performance improvements to the Mustang in order to compete with the newly released 67 Chevrolet Camaro. (Please see link below on more in depth info of the changes Ford made) What's interesting is the 67 Mustang convertible was the least produced Mustang body style by Ford in 1967 making convertibles even harder to find today in this iconic year in Ford history. (See below for Production Number) What I love most about these classic convertible Mustang's is they now make detachable Fastback hard tops for these convertibles which give you the cool retro fastback styling while still having the luxury of driving with the top down when you want it. The car does need a full restoration including some metal repair but it's in great shape considering the car is over 50 years old! You rarely find these classic mustangs in such good condition with the original motor, transmission and rear all still intact which is an amazing find today! The car even has the original windshield wiper fluid bag still intact under the hood which goes to show this car was well kept throughout most of its life, that stuff just doesn't stand the test of time unless it was stored properly! A lot of the original body panels, parts, trim, glass, lights, etc. are in amazing shape as you can see from the pictures. The car is missing the original bucket seats and rear seat and a few other little pieces but otherwise everything else appears to be there. If you have any questions and would like to see more pictures or see the car in person prior to bidding please message me and I will be happy to get that information over to you. Paypal is for a $500 deposit only, the rest of the balance must be paid in cash, money order or check! The car is 50 years old and needs a full restoration meaning the car is not currently road worthy and is sold in AS-IS condition. Don't miss out on a great opportunity to own this piece of American History!
