You are looking at a real California Cruiser that has been daily driven! This 1964 Ford F-250 Long bed Pick Up Truck has the right look. The body is solid with no visible rust. A older back yard two-tone re-paint job, originally a white and and blue truck. It starts, drives and stops extremely well. It has a 292 Y-Block V8 engine with 20k miles on rebuild, recently tuned up with a Distributor cap/ rotor, spark plugs, and wires. Brand new Holley Carb with a mushroom air cleaner. Flushed fuel tank new fuel lines and fuel pump. The V8 has single cross-over exhaust that exits out the side of bed and sounds great. The Hydro -Three Speed Auto Transmission shifts well with gear selection on the column. New Starter, a 12v Battery and GM 1 Wire Alternator. Re-manufactured Radiator and flushed fluids keeps this truck cool.
This Ford rides on 16" Red Steel Rims and Radial Fat White Wall tires and Stainless Hub Caps. De-Arched Leaf springs in the rear and front suspension gives this truck a lower stance. Looks like a old truck drives like a old pick-up,that said it easily goes straight down the road with lots of power. Very nice grill, painted front and rear bumper are good driver condition. Heavy Duty Barden rear bumper with tow ball for trailer hauling.
The interior is very comfortable with solid floors covered with grey carpet mats. Very nice Two-tone Serape Blanket covers the stock Bench Sea, Seat belts behind the seat - no headliner. Modern Blue Tooth CD/FM/AM Radio is in the dash it works and sounds great. Gauges Cluster functions Speedometer, GEN light, oil pressure, temp needs new sensor. Working Lights and Turn signals. All of the original Ford safety flat glass, windshield, and back window are crack free. Two tiny chips in the windshield are out of drivers view. All windows roll down freely. The Dash was painted the blue to match the body of the truck. Very Solid bed with functioning tailgate. Signs of it previous life as a work truck still shows hear and there some small chips and dents mostly on the drivers side... that said its just a solid old truck, See pics!!!
In a nut shell this truck is a classic! Turn the key and go cruise! This is not a museum quality truck rather a original truck that has been loved and used its whole life as a fun truck, ready for someone to just enjoy as a nice driver or take it to shows not a trailer queen by any means but it's a cool truck. Any and every-time I drive this truck I get nothing but waves, thumbs ups, conversation, I cant come out of a store with out somebody standing there looking in!
