For Sale is one of the NICEST, original Ford Thunderbird 30th Anniversary Editions on the planet, with ONLY 8800 ORIGINAL documented miles ! Rust free body with beautiful laser straight body panels with completely original and FLAWLESS paint, interior, extremely clean undercarriage, and engine compartment. The car has a clean Auto Check report, I am just the second owner. It lived nearly all of its life in California, away from the nasty northern winters. There were only somewhere near 5000 of these cars produced in 1985. How many are left, and how many with just 8800 miles in showroom condition ? Probably NONE.... This is a very collectible and rare car, and hardly ever driven !

EXTERIOR: The Regatta Blue Metallic paint with the silver metallic perimeter lower paint is all original and is in EXCELLENT condition. This color combination was only used on the 1985 30th Anniversary Edition Thunderbirds. There are no door dings, no paint chips, or scratches. The paint is virtually flawless. I just had the entire body buffed and polished and it looks excellent. The glass is all in excellent condition, the wheels shine beautifully with no curb rash, nicks or flaws anywhere. It also has brand new Cooper Cobra Tires in excellent condition. This is an awesome edition of the mid 80's "Aero Birds" that were used in NASCAR Racing in the mid to late 80's. This design Thunderbird still holds the all-time qualifying speed record held by Bill Elliott at Talladega Superspeedway, timed at over 212 MPH.

INTERIOR: A 100% NON SMOKER Car. The blue velour interior is in EXCLLENT condition. All seating areas, headliner, door panels, carpet, dash, seat belts, and 30th Anniversary logoed floor mats are in excellent condition. Power windows, door locks, power seats, cruise control, original factory sound system AM FM cassette, all work perfectly. The gauges, dash lights, interior lights, power antenna, and power seats all work perfectly and are fully functional. The AC Blows very cold on those hot sunny days. The entire interior looks like it has never been used. The trunk compartment is in showroom condition and looks excellent as well.

MECHANICALS: The original (ONLY 8800 miles) EFI fuel injected 5.0 L V-8 power plant runs perfectly, with no drips, leaks or issues. The original 4 - speed overdrive transmission shifts smoothly and effortlessly, again with no leaks or drips. Awesome, tastefully done, mild tone exhaust, with custom stainless tips, sounds awesome. The car runs, drives, and stops flawlessly, a true JOY to drive. The car needs absolutely NOTHING, it is in perfect mechanical condition. I just recently had the car gone through completely, and there are NO ISSUES whatsoever.

This car has been garage kept all of its life. It also has been maintained very well. All fluids have been changed and services performed as required by manufacturer's instructions at required mileage. This car runs and drives flawlessly. You can drive it anywhere in the USA without concern. Just turn the key, and DRIVE ! This is a very unique opportunity to own a very rare and collectible Thunderbird.
