32 Ford, Jaguar powered roadster

This beautiful, all steel bodied, 32 Ford Roadster is powered by a completely rebuilt Jaguar 12 cyl engine.

The body has been widened 6", the engine compartment has been lengthened 6" the top has been chopped 2" and the doors are 2 1/2 wider. The hood is steel reinforced aluminum. The grill is made from stainless bar stock. There is a convertible top with a boot and the owner, who by the way did the complete build, (except for the engine rebuild) built a steel reinforced aluminum removeable top. The interior is covered in real Jaguar leather skins with the seats taken from a Jaguar XJ 12 and there is real mahogany throughout the interior. All gauges and latches are Jaguar and the handbrake is molded into the center console. The windshield wipers are sunken and there are cowl vents for added cooling. . An Iditit tilt steering column, with all stainless steel linkage supports the steering wheel. All lights are LED including a third brake light.

The engine is a fully rebuilt 12 cylinder by Bill Drake engines in Rochester New York and only has 2300 miles on it. The owner built both intake manifolds and installed two Holley 350 4 Barrel carbs and also installed an Isky Performance cam w/ new valve springs. There is a Tremec 5 speed trans with an aluminum flywheel. The owner built the headers and the full stainless steel exhaust system. There is a custom radiator which allows the great car to run nice and cool. The owner removed all Lucas items due to their famous unreliability and installed a Crane electronic ignition system. There is a completely rebuilt Jaguar independent rear suspension with powered 4 piston caliper disc brakes. There are 285x50x15 tires on the rear and 205x50x15 tires on the front with Dunlap Hi Performance directional tires. There are also custom safety glass windows that fit tight and are rattle free.
