     Up for bid is my 1917 Ford Model T Roadster. This car was restored about 5 to 6 years ago and was a ground up restoration. This car has its original 1917 motor and was restored from a fairly nice complete car. The correct top and interior were also done at the same time and presents as new. The paint as you can see shows really nice and would stand out very nicely among some of the better examples. The tires have little or no miles on them and the car had sat in a collection since it was restored. I would rate this car overall as a high quality driver that you could enjoy and take to a good quality show and fair well. A car like this is really the best of both worlds and can be enjoyed while being a car to be proud of. There’s much to be said about that depending on the collector. This is a very nice early Roadster that you do not often see in a 17 as they made more Touring’s than Roadsters that year and the fact that it is the first of the all black Model T cars is nice and most affordable while still enjoying the fun of driving a Model T at a fraction of the cost. I recently did front end work as well as the steering making it more road worthy. Another important note is the rear Disk Brake set up that was added for touring at a cost alone of almost $ 1. 00. 00. This will assure you that in an emergency you will be able to skid the tires to a dead stop. There is also a new top boot and as you can see from the pictures and I have the original engine pans to go on the car. I will try to do this before the new buyer takes the car.
