The 54 is mechanically very sound. The current owner has taken really good care of it for 25 years. He was not really concerned about cosmetics, but wanted a truck that would be reliable when he pulled it out of the garage on his monthly drives.

The truck could use paint. We didn't find any rust, but there are chips and scratches here and there. The paint that is on the truck was not a professional job, but is presentable from a distance.

The engine compartment is one of the places the truck shines. The 327 engine is detailed extremely well. The engine compartment itself is very nice.

You can see by looking in the engine compartment, there is no a/c nor heat.

You can see how clean the engine compartment is. The core support and radiator look like new and the engine block is painted and detailed.

The bright work is original and does show a little aging, but is in good condition.

The truck has no window on the drivers side and the window crank is not working. The window on the passenger side is cracked.

You can see the fuse panel was upgraded.

You can see there has been sound and heat deadening installed in the cab.

There is a Super Tach II which is not currently working.

The battery has a quick disconnect.

The undercarriageof this 54 is very nice. Very well detailed and showing the new parts.

The truck is riding on Weld wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich T/A Radials.

The only real small amount of damage is this small dent and cracked paint.

The paint really does look good from a distance and this classic 54 can be driven just as is right now. If you are looking to bring it to show quality, you can invest in a paint job and interior and be able to show it anywhere.
