This Ranchero belonged to my friend who had to stop driving. It was his pride and joy. He told me that he "threw buckets of money at it" to do every custom touch he could at the time: An expensive custom paint job. wheels. upgraded interior. factory floor shift. neat Mallory tach fitted into the dash. tow bar and more. Also has a custom steering wheel (last pic) but showing signs of wear and the horn push is missing. Alignment is OK just picture taken with wheels not straight ahead. All this work was done years ago so the tires have some dry rot but they hold air. I have been driving quite happily with them. It has been sitting for a few years so the clear coat on the paint has started peeling. mostly on the hood and roof. It still looks good enough to turn heads and gets thumbs up everywhere I drive. Interior is really nice as I hope the pictures show. I think the seats and door panels may have been transplanted from a luxury model. I don't know enough to say for sure and my friend cannot remember but it looks really nice. I think originally it was a column shift but has a floor shift. Some adjustment is needed to the linkage but I have always managed just fine. There is a small cloth piece on the dash that would benefit from re-covering which I will try to have done before the listing ends. It's OK as it is but would look better recovered. The mileage of 89. 22 (today) is believed to be correct but again my friend cannot remember. The car drives excellent and feels 'tight' and the doors don't drop when opened so I believe this is the correct mileage but I cannot guarantee it. Look at the pics and see how straight the body is. another sign this is not a high mileage vehicle. An original California car on blue plates the car is rust free and Bondo free. There is a small dent on the front fender and seen in the second picture. Can be easily fixed but a spare fender is included if you want a bondo free car. Also a dent on the tailgate. OK. so a little bondo needed here. This is a no reserve listing as I do want the car sold. The car is for sale locally so listing may end early. Please don't hesitate bidding if you like this car.
