Description for Ford Mustang 1967

Still a project but in its final stages. All of the hard work has been done: new front suspension with Granada disc brakes, Explorer rear end put in with disc brakes, emergency hand brake works. New floor pans, the fresh air cowl vents have been deleted and sealed, the whole underside of the car has been coated with POR-15, so no rust at all. Isuzu Trooper steering box adapted to the Ford steering pump(works great), aluminum radiator, Explorer engine block and heads, new water pump, new carburetor, Weian intake, engine accessories from a 1990 Mustang GT, T5 transmission with modern drive line hydraulic clutch, wood steering wheel. Eleanor Kit installed and painted(paint looks great but does have a couple of minor scratches, paid $7,000 for body kit, installed and paint). All of this was done within the last 2 years. I get slight vibration doing 70mph on the highway. Needs an alignment. After market A/C in place but doesn't work(older box came with it, tried to hook it up, blows cold on idle but warm when driving). As said, the car still needs some work but I drive it regularly, but have other projects that I work on.

Note: After receiving so many messages/questions about the car here is a little update of things that I didn't mention before: This is a COUPE CONVERTED TO FASTBACK, the job was done by me taking measurements from a friend's fastback. The roof is new, the quarter panels are new(whole, not cut), new gas tank, and sheet metal surrounding is new, new tail light panel which later was adapted with the shelby lights(from a cougar). Everything was welded and seam sealed, new brake and gas lines, new after market front fenders, American Eagle Rims, Right side torque box welded in, also a Shelby mode done to the front suspension are just a few of the things I've done to this car. There is a 2x2 roll bar welded in the A-pillars giving extra support to the roof(cross-bracket). If you see those Dinacorn fastback bodies converted this will compare to that, since that's where I got the idea to do this. I was asked by one person why I was selling it so cheap. My answer to that is that I didn't feel that a coupe converted to a fastback would be worth as much as the real thing. I'm trying to be honest about what Im selling and I feel it's a fair price. If a local buyer is interested in it, please feel free to contact me and make an appointment to come and inspect it in person.
