Description for Ford Model A 1931
For sale is a 1931 ford model a hot rod/rat rod. Completely custom 2x4 steel frame, professionally jigged and welded. Front end is speedway drop axel with new disc conversion and shock tower. Rear is a ford 9 inch that rides on new Vi-Air airbag system. Brand new custom made 3 inch drive shaft. Rear drum brakes are brand new (professionally rebuild) with springs and pads. Engine came from a 1965 Chevy C10 truck that had 3000 miles on the rebuild when I installed it. I put about 600 miles on it since. Runs amazing. Tranny is a new Th350 with the same 600 miles on it. Shifts clean and crisp. The brake system is also brand new with components from Speedway with an adjustable proportion valve and under floor master cylinder. The interior is 100% custom fab using 18-20 gauge steel and copper rivets. Beyond the functioning aspect, the safety features include a secure low profile fuel tank which is protected by the frame and a roll bar with a harness bar for the 4 point. It has a brand new wiring harness with LED taillights made from Harley pistons. The side logo is actually hand painted from a local artist. The pics speak for themselves. Between the quality build and the patina this makes an unusual ride. No where will you find another like it. The only thing that has not been done is wire up the fuel sender to the gauge. Turns heads everywhere but my favorite thing is to hit a back country road and cruise at 40mph. I'm selling to get a 4 seat ride for my whole family.
