This is a real barn find. This truck was parked deep in a large horse/equipment barn. It was parked and left for over 30 years. Some family and neighbors reported that the truck was left inside after getting a flat tire. The owner passed away and the Bronco sat where he left it until family eventually passed on too and the estate was auctioned off. There is an interesting story that will be shared with the new owner.
This is a Canadian vehicle with 34042 kilometers (21152 miles).Some say it was parked in the barn since 1984 or 1985.
The estate company didn't know the Bronco was in the barn originally. After several surveys and equipment removal they stumbled on it where it sat sunk in the floor/ground about 10-12" and a floor/shelf (2nd story) was built over the top of it almost entirely encasing it like a mummy tomb.They had to remove flooring, walls and shelves to free it. They were extremely careful not to harm the Bronco when extracting from its tomb area.
It was covered with barn dirt, dust and filth where you almost couldn't tell what color it was.We had it transported to an outside parking area next to a relative's house that has a large concrete driveway where its been for a few months now. After some transporting and rain over those months, it washed off most heavy dirt and grime, however you'll easily see the barn proof upon inspection.
There is no title. Selling and sold with a bill of sale only. It was bought as is with a bundled purchase including tractors, equipment and other things. This was an enormous estate auction and an absolute gorgeous house, barn and farm. Estate sale sold as is with no title or registration. Winner/buyer will have to obtain title through a title recovery company or DMV themselves.
I never attempted to file or chase down a title. We are extremely busy and honestly have no interest.This Bronco should be a great find for Bronco people out there and we do hope it goes to somebody that knows these trucks and can use it for a restoration and/or good parts.
Nobody tried starting it by the way. Tires were flat and aired up for photos. They seem to hold air for about a week or so and the two on the passenger side actually stay up a little longer.We found news articles in the truck dated from 1983 and 1984.It's all there and all original.All trim pieces and glass look good too.Solid body and frame. Interior materials are good and complete too.
