Description for Ford F-100 1956

Own a piece of history! This 1956 F-100 was in the original owner's family for the first 63 years of its life and was used its entire life as a farm truck.It has been garage kept and well maintained.Included is a copy of the original registration from back in December, 1955.

It has the original wood bed (solid as a rock), original drive train and 3 on the tree transmission, original Straight 6 engine (rebuilt about 10 years ago with a new crankshaft, pistons, etc. and driven 6000 miles since then). It has a newer carburetor, fuel pump, and radiator. The dashboard is original and has not been altered in any way. Comes with many spare parts including the original carburetor, fuel pump, and radiator.
It was repainted the original color "Meadow Green" about 30 years ago and has a few small dents from its life on the farm. There is NO RUST. It has a newer tailgate but the original will also be included. The driver side window has a crack, there is minor oil and transmission leakage, and the steering could be tightened up with some new bushings.
You could update this beauty or just drive it as is. Either way, you are sure to get a lot of attention! Restomods are everywhere but it's VERY rare to find an original F-100 in such good shape.
