It still retains it's original Flathead V-8 that has been freshly rebuilt. and it's converted to a 12 volt system with a single wire alternator. It also has a Pointless Ignition system for increased reliability. The three speed manual transmission and rear end have been rebuilt. along with the original copper radiator. New exhaust lets the flathead purr. You can hardly hear it idle. The entire body sports all original steel. the rust free rockers. quarter panels. fenders. doors. hood. trunk and main body were taken down to bare metal and prepped and painted with a beautiful Shiny Penny metallic paint. All the insides were rubberized coated to preserve them for a few more generations. and it is calm and quiet inside while cruising down the road. All the trim is either new. perfect original. or reproduction. and is in great condition. Lots of original pieces. including the window frames were rechromed at great expense. The windows are all original and were removed. polished. and reinstalled with new rubber. Up front it has halogen headlights and the very cool yellow fog lamps. New wiring was laid throughout the entire car. using exact reproduction harnesses. The rust free frame was detailed and all new components were put back on. This jewel still retains it's manual steering and brake systems. It rides on the original steel wheels with Firestone wide whitewall radials. and has all the original hubcaps! The interior has a few pieces needed to be complete. The seats have been redone and the headliner is new. The original banjo steering wheel is in great condition. and the dash has all the original gauges that still work! The carpet and a few interior trim pieces need to be done for it to be complete.
