1929 model a ford. I have alot of new parts on this hot rod i built in 2016. When i restored it i did everything im listing as all new parts. I have only driven the car at most 500 miles. So its still like brand new. The car has its original 3 speed tranny and stock rear axle. Still has all mechanical brakes that work excellent. Every thing works except the speedometer. I did replace the cable but it must have eithor a bad speedometer gear or bad gauge. The radiator had to be replaced due to the motor now has big horsepower. The radiator is a aluminum champion radiator. The factory motors are rated at 40hp. I belive this one is over 100hp. Its not your grandpa's model a. The motor was built at Carl McQuillen machine shop in Leroy NY. I have close to $10,000 in just the engine. Motor is 10.5.1 compression ratio. Has a counter weighted crank thats fully oil pressurised like a moden engine. Also has 194 and 202 stainless steel big valve conversion. The cam is a touring model. 4 custom modern pistons and H-Beam rods. The flywheel has been lightened 20 pounds and has a flathead v8 cluch conversion. Its also 12 volt with a alternator that looks like a generator so it still looks period correct. Also supports a mini gear reduction starter due to high compression ratio. Wenfield aluminum head that had to be machined so the valves had clearance. It was also shaved some. I only run the car on high octane pump gas 91 or 93 . And the car still averages 25 miles per gallon on road trips. I spared no expense on this car. Has all new tires and new break shoes. All the wood has been replaced with oak. The seats Are all professionally reupholstered. The only rust on the car is the front windshield frame. I do have a new windshield frame thats included in the auction as well as all BRAND NEW GLASS as seen in the picture. How ever i do not have the crank mechanism for the side windows. This car attracts a lot of attention everywhere you drive it. I have recived alot of first place Trophies from car shows. Im only selling this car because I have way to many cars and im out of space to keep it stored. Car is also listed locally and i have the right to end auction early if it sales locally.
