Relisting due to an unethical bidder who retracted their bid and effected the natural course of an auction. Please do not bid unless you intend to follow through with purchasing if you are the winning bidder. For sale is this 1978 Ford Mustang II V-8 coupe. Very solid southern body believed to have been bought new at Woody Anderson Ford in Huntsville Alabama. The dealer badge is still on it below the left taillight. Has a period correct 302 with D5ZZ markings on many of the components, and a C-4 transmission. Haven't started the engine, but it does turn over and has the factory exhaust manifolds on it. Many of the areas you see in primer, have been stripped to metal, treated with a metal prep, epoxy primed, and then urethane primed by a professional body shop. Pic with bottom of back seat out shows factory primer where I peeled the old tar mat/sound deadener up. As previously stated it is very solid but has a rust hole in the left hand lower quarter, and a few holes underneath the gas cap on the same quarter. Cobra II scoop was added and is a factory scoop. Original slotted aluminum mag wheels. Glass is good and trim is mostly complete. Black deluxe interior with fold down rear seat. Have a clear Alabama title that will transfer to your state.
