!!NO RESERVE AUCTION!!Fully Restored Top to Bottom!! Correct 201 cid I4 Engine!! Buried in a Warehouse Since 1995!!All Steel Body Throughout!!Interior is Mint!! Buried in a warehouse on the west side of Chicago since 1995. this Model AA was once the shop favorite of the previous owner. Since his passing. several iconic and important classic cars were uncovered as the estate was being sorted. Purchased from the Volo Auto Musuem in 1990. this laser straight Model AA was already in nice shape but could use a little more. Over the course of the next 5 years the truck went through a meticulous restoration and was used sparingly. Due to health reasons the truck was parked in the warehouse. covered. and left to sit. Earlier this winter when the truck was rediscovered. the new owner cleaned up the fuel system and got the truck running! They have since cleaned up the truck and installed a new lock cylinder for the ignition. The paint is in great shape and needs nothing more than a thorough polishing. The current owner was after other vehicles in the collection but ended up with the truck as well. but is just looking to pass along to focus on the other vehicles. Mechanically the truck does run and drive but we are recommending independent inspection prior to purchase to make sure you understand the condition of this Model AA. Under the hood is where the 201 cid Inline 4 cylinder resides. featuring an updraft carburetor. six-volt generator. mechanical water pump. mechanical oil pump. electric starter. and four-row radiator. The 40 horse engine is backed by backed by a 4 speed manual transmission. all built for hauling loads. Again. we do recommend inspection before bidding so you have a good feel for the actual condition of the truck.
