Description for Ford Ranchero 1957
I bought this car out of Huntington Beach CA, so the body is in fantastic shape. I'm selling this to fund another project. There are a few rock chips on the paint and two small paint blisters. Floor panel behind the driver seat has been replaced. The other floor panels are in decent shape. Brand new {Daytonta Weave } carpet. Perfect headliner. New sun visors. Tires are Goodyear and are 80% tread. New door weatherstripping . All glass is good and door glass rolls up and down as it should. Engine is a 302 with a Holley Economaster carb. New upholstered split bench seat. Drum brakes all around and are adjusted well and work great . Upgraded Borgeson power steering gear box. Upgraded electric wiper motor. Ceramic coated headers. 3 speed auto trans with mild shift kit. This car has the padded dash option and is in perfect shape. no radio. Air vents work perfectly. The front end needs rebuilt with new bushings and ball joints. I have the whole kit {$ 300.00 } that goes with the car. 14" Crager wheels. When i bought this car a while bac, i unbolted the pan that's fastened down in the bed to see the condition underneath and its perfect. It still has the original red oxide coating in there. Tonneau cover is in great shape. All lights work as they should. This car turns heads everywhere and gets thumbs ups all the time . I drive this car quite a bit and its a blast to drive . It's strictly a cruiser car . The engine runs grea, but its a stock built 30, so you wont be doing nasty burnouts in this thing. This car never runs hot { ever } i drive this in this Missouri heat in the dead of July with zero problems. This has still got the manual fuel pump so if you're going to use ethanol fue, and you don't drive it for a week, you'll be cranking it over several times to get the fuel pumped back into the carbureator before its start, because Ethanol evaporates out of a carbureators vent bowl tubes. I recommend an electric fuel pump and eliminate that issue all together if it bothers you. I'll try to get more detailded pics added. I can always send pics by text or email. NO RESERVE. NO TRADES.
